MPI Union

On the 8th of December, 2011 the head of MPI Union Samuel Zakarian and the head of "GXP" Centre of Excellence Aram Ghazaryan made lectures in the Medical Institute after Mehrabyan in the presence of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy. They represented the perspectives of pharmaceutical developments in Armenia, the strict necessity of pharmaceutical expansion, ways of development, as well as the demand of training new specialists in accordance with European and International standards. The ways, conditions and opportunities of relevant staff preparations in Armenia were mentioned.

The specialists and students of the Institute were given the opportunity to use the electronic library of MPI Union free of charge. The relevant agreement on putting the electronic version of all the volumes of Armenian-Bulgarian medical Bulletin, published by the Institute, on MPI Union website (www.pharmunion.am) was reached. The necessity of job creation in pharmaceutics was mentioned either. Mr. S. Zakarian and Mr. A. Ghazaryan kindly answered the different questions raised by the lecturers and students of the Institute regarding the import of medicine, production and other issues in this sphere. At the end of the meeting the management of the Institute thanked them for the comprehensive and detailed presentation and hoped for more frequent meetings.
